Our dedicated staff has been working together for over twenty years in the San Francisco Bay Area to bring you the best quality and service possible. Since 1987, we have been delivering California gourmet selections in spectacular gift baskets and celebration packages.Strategically located between San Francisco and the famous wine country of Napa and Sonoma counties, we love having the finest California products close at hand. Our buyers are always on the lookout for the tastiest local specialties: roasted almonds from the Central Valley, renowned chocolates from Ghirardelli Square, the freshest fruit from the Golden State, creamy cheeses from Sonoma Square and crisp Chardonnays from the Central Coast.

Our Guarantee
We dedicate ourselves to our customers and those who receive our gfts. If you are not satisfied for any reason, let us know and we will promptly send a replacement gift or provide you with a refund or credit.

Green/Organic Giving
We are experiencing a greater awareness of how our actions affect our planet. Most of us make an effort to recycle and use recycled products, take public transportation or drive carpools, and conserve energy by turning off our lights and appliances. As individuals, we're becoming more socially responsible.

Here at California Delicious, we're also becoming more environmentally responsible and adopting greener ways of doing business. Our gifts are boxed in high quality recycled shipping boxes and we pack the boxes with recycled paper. Our gifts arrive looking beautiful and our recipients are not left with unwanted non-recyclable packaging. The baskets themselves are mostly stuffed with high quality recycled "filler" paper, rather than synthetic popcorn filler or wood excelsior. Here again, the more recycled and recyclable materials we can use, the better.

We are also using smaller shipping boxes for our gifts. You'd be surprised how few inches here and there can make a difference. The more gifts that can be packed onto a truck or a plane, the less fuel used to deliver each gift. Another way we conserve fuel is by ordering the vast majority of our fine foods and wines from local vendors. California Delicious is located in Northern California, close to a wealth of wineries and gourmet food producers. There are also plenty of organic growers and food manufacturers nearby, and we're delighted to be expanding our organic offerings.

Shipping & Handling
Shipping Schedule:
Orders placed by 2pm PST (5pm EST) Monday-Friday, will ship the same day unless you choose a later ship date.
Orders placed after 2pm PST (5pm EST) Monday-Friday, weekends or holidays, will ship the following business day.
California Delicious does not ship on major holidays or weekends.

Please note: there are more specific shipping schedules and deadlines for goumet cheeses, fresh fruit, brand name chocolate gifts and other perishable items that will be noted in shipping guide for each product. The above shipping schedule may not apply in all cases and is subject to change.

Shipping Perishable Products:
Any gift including fresh fruit must ship on a Monday - Wednesday via Express Delivery to guarantee freshness.

International Shipping:
Currently, we ship to the 48 contiguous United States plus Alaska and Hawaii.

For international orders, you may consider shipping the order to yourself and then forwarding your gift on to your international recipient.

P.O. Box, APO/FPO Shipping:
We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or F.P.O./A.P.O's. If your order includes a P.O. Box, F.P.O./A.P.O. or is illegible or incomplete, your order may be delayed

Payment Options:
By Credit Card: California Delicious accepts payment through all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Product Substitutions
Substitutions may be made with items of greater or equal value if necessary to guarantee freshness and timely delivery. A non-alcoholic beverage may be substituted for wine, champagne or beer when shipping to state that does not allow alcoholic beverage shipments.

Wine Shipments
Due to local state regulations, gift baskets containing wine and/or beer can only be shipped to the following states: AK, CA, DC, FL, HI, ID, IL, IA, LA, MN, MO, NE, NV, NM, ND, OH, OR, WA, WV, WY.

*Shipping gifts containing Alcohol: Please note that gifts containing alcohol require the signature of someone 21 years of age or older upon delivery.
