California Boutique Wineries

California Wine

With over 400 wineries in Napa, Sonoma and the North Coast Valleys as well as Southern California, we have a wealth of choices to offer when it comes to fine wines.

The grapes of California allow us all to enjoy their bounty. Our Wine partners let the grapes tell their own stories with each bottle of wine they produce. Many families have been growing, harvesting and producing their wines for years and take great pride in offering you that perfect sip, that quintessential California wine experience.

Beringer Winery Logo

Beringer Winery

In 1875, Jacob and Frederick Beringer purchased 215 acres of prime Napa Valley land, establishing Beringer as a key player among the few wineries in operation at that time. Since then, Beringer has carefully cultivated a diverse portfolio of prized vineyards across many Napa Valley appellations. These vineyards range from the highest hills in Napa to the valley floor behind their historic winery. To this day, the sense of innovation and exploration is honored at Beringer in their unending drive to be a leader in emerging region development, sustainable farming practices and vineyard care. Each Beringer vineyard is cultivated based on its distinctive soil, climate and terrain characteristics. You can find Beringer wines in our Sweet Beringer Wine Gift and California Foothills Wine Gift Basket.

Blackstone Winery

Sonoma County has always been Blackstone’s home and inspiration. Since the beginning they've established a reputation for consistently delivering balanced, reliable wines of uncompromising quality. From the start, Blackstone's goal has been to produce smooth, flavorful, harmonious wines with rich fruit, supple texture, and balanced oak. Early on, this approach found its ideal expression in their Merlot, which soon became — and still remains — America’s favorite Merlot. Winemaker Gary Sitton brings a passion for Sonoma County—its landscape, and its wine—to his work. He’s spent his winemaking career there, first at Sommer Vineyards and more recently at Ravenswood. During this time, he has developed a strong appreciation of the diversity of Sonoma County’s vineyards and the unique range of wines that they produce.

After 30 years of cultivation Chandon are experts in each sparkling varietal, and fortunate to grow them in three of California’s finest appellations: Yountville, Carneros and Mount Veeder. Today they farm 1,000 acres in these appellations and are leaders in sustainable farming. They feel privileged to grow the finest fruit while preserving our environment for future generations.

Iron horse Logo

Iron Horse Vineyards

Iron Horse is one of Sonoma County's most beautiful, small, independent, estate, family owned wineries located in Green Valley. Founding partners Audrey and Barry Sterling first saw it in the pouring rain in February 1976. Driving down Ross Station Road, they were sure they were lost until they crested the knoll and the view opened up to 300 acres of gentle rolling hills and a wall of trees behind that looked like Camelot to them. In those days, Iron Horse was the most westerly vineyard in Sonoma County. Even the agricultural extension agents from UC Davis recommended they look further east as this vineyard was prone to frost as late as June 1st, well after bud-break, and jeopardizing the crop. But having lived in France, the Sterlings knew the cool, foggy climate was exactly what they were looking for to grow Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. You can buy this unique sparkling wine in our exclusive Iron Horse Sparkling Wine Wedding Gift.

Mumm logo

Mumm Winery

In 1979, the legendary French Champagne house of G.H. Mumm began its quest to find the ideal winegrowing area in the U.S. The sensitive project was awarded to Guy Devaux who had 40 + years experience creating fine still and sparkling wines in France, South America and the U.S. For four years, Devaux quietly crossed America, surreptitiously buying grapes and small lots of wine he considered prime. His only rule was to find a terroir where he could create wine from the traditional Champagne grapes and use only the highest quality production process, méthode champenoise. Ultimately, Guy Devaux found his prize in the Napa Valley- The long hot days and cool nights could foster the perfect ripeness and balanced acidity. Today, Champagne-born master winemaker Ludovic Dervin leads the way, using his international experience to craft balanced, distinctive wines in the acclaimed méthode traditionelle. You can find Mumm Sparkling wine in our Napa Valley Sparkling Wine Mumm Gift.

Twin fin logo

Twin Fin

Two guys from Australia come to California. They know so much about wine, they could be wine snobs. But they’re not, lucky for us and for you too. Meet Hugh Reimers and Sam Burton. Twin Fin is for those who love living life in the moment. Sun in your face, wind in your hair, toes in the sand—it’s all about the essence of the California Lifestyle, wherever you happen to be. They think philosophy is best left to the philosophers. So, as winemakers, here’s their attempt: “We prefer Sunny Days over dark cellars”. For those who require something deeper, how about this: “We’re unassuming, easygoing and fun-loving and very serious about wine. So we created a wine that’s easy to drink and perfect for any occasion.”
